2008 SA OLIVE AWARDS
An extra virgin olive oil from the historic Burgundy Bourgogne Huguenot farm outside Franschhoek has been lauded as the country’s finest olive oil during the 3rd SA Olive Awards at Laborie Estate in Paarl . Burgundy Bourgogne’s winning oil (Frantoio) presented the judges with a fresh but rich, rounded aroma, full of nuances of fresh salad leaves and nuts. The judges agreed: a very elegant oil. |
