The distances are 45km starting at 9h00 (long route), 32km starting at 9h15 (medium route) and the short route's distance is 10km starting at 9h30. The starting points are at the Huguenot Monument in Franschhoek. All participants that finish the race gets a medal. There will be a prize giving at 12h00. The prize giving will consist of a lucky draw with prizes that includes wine, restaurant vouchers, bicycle accessories also there will money prizes for the winners in the 45km men, women and junior men U/19. Please go to the website to read the waiver. The venue / directions / parking directions are on the website so please have a look at where to park on the day of the event. Bonjour Trail Blazers. The waiting is over, as the training should be. The Salomon Bastille Day Trail run is around the corner. Here is everything you need to know to survive the day. All regular trail run rules apply. There is compulsory gear for you to carry and this applies to all routes. This consists of: Waterproof shell cover/top. At least 1.5 litres of water. A cell phone in case of emergencies. Some sort of snack to keep your engines running.here are no official water points on route, but there is plenty of fresh water on the mountain. Be prepared to get your feet wet. You will be crossing some rivers, this is trail running after all. There are photographers and french maids on route, smile, flash, do whatever it takes to be famous...
