Head Chef Cheyne enjoys finding the best local fresh produce and using our very own vegetables and fruits from our gardens in order to create exquisite combinations of tasty, lekker food.
Our creative team will plan and host events for you on the estate. We have some fabulous locations on the estate, such as where the two rivers meet, picnic areas along the river banks, our large banqueting area in the Franschhoek Kitchen Restaurant, the manor house courtyard and dining room, the orchard with its over 400 fruit trees, the gazebo on the farm dam or the outdoor restaurant area surrounded by vines. You really are spoilt for choice.
The Manor House on the Holden Manz Wine Estate is a beautiful Cape Dutch style Guest House. The house is only just over ten years old. The lovely architecture with its open thatched roof allows the eye to flow freely through the large spaces. All suites have well appointed modern bathrooms with ample space for a near spa-experience indulgence.
Holden Manz Estate boasts its own Wellness Spa and new Yoga Studio. Both the guest house and wellness spa are in the quiet corner of the estate where two rivers meet, a perfect setting to escape your daily worries and relax into a world of calm tranquillity. You can make your spa experience part of your stay with us, or plan it to co-inside with a restaurant visit on our farm or a fun wine tasting amidst the vines – you might also like to send the rest of your family on a fantastic picnic next to the river, whilst you escape to the spa for a pampering.
