For antique lovers there are a few choice shops in the village.
Covid 19 Appeal
The Covid 19 Pandemic has created economic havoc in the beloved village of Franschhoek, whose main business is you, the tourist. Some restaurants and shops have sadly closed their doors due to the economic hardship that the pandemic has imposed on the village as it has communities worldwide.
Likewise, this site has suffered alongside everyone else.
Understandably our advertisers have fled and those who remain have all got big discounts. Like other businesses we have poured our resources in to keep going.
Therefore we appeal to you, our visitors to the site for a small donation.
However, we are not asking you for something for nothing. Each donor will recieve a My Franschhoek Poster, Compliments of Franschhoek Artist Jo Scott in both a Printable PDF format and Jpeg Image as a digital download. Included is a collection of images used on our weather page at full resolution size.
Our three donation offerings are below.
